    group member is dedicated to working in his own home church.
    The Faith Harmony Boys signed an exclusive recording contract in
    January, 2005 with Lamp Music Group in Whitesville, GA. Their first
    Lamp recording should be completed by mid-summer. The new recording
    features seven strong original songs by group members, and several
    other tremendous works by writers including David Needham and Diane
    Needham-Mummert of The

    4. Alive! Deep In The Heart Of Texas - CQ
    Lamp President, Mike Pillow, recently shared his thoughts on the
    agreement,
    "I first met the FHB in the early 90's and have been aware of their
    industry presence over the years. God has truly blessed these men
    with not only an entertaining delivery, but an awesome spirit. I am
    looking forward to great things for God as a result of this
    partnership!"
    FHB's first nationally distributed project, Extreme Faith, was
    recorded in March, 1997 with Reformation Records. Nine of the ten
    cuts on this project were written by group members. This included
    their first two national single releases, FAITH IS THE VICTORY, and I
    LOVE IT WHEN GOD'S PLAN COMES TOGETHER, which climbed to #73 on the
    U.S. Gospel News Top 100
    chart for November 1998.
    In September, 1999 they released their second nationally-distributed
    recording project, Pure Gold. The first radio single from this
    project, TRAVELING ON THROUGH CANAAN,climbed to #71 in the June 2000
    issue of the Singing News magazine's Top 80 chart. The next three
    single releases, WELCOME HOME MY CHILD, I'M LOOKING FOR JESUS, and
    TRUSTING IN JESUS also
    received good radio response across the country.
    The Faith Harmony Boys are honored to be a featured artist at the
    annual Eastern Quartet Convention in Greensburg, PA which is
    sponsored by Streets of Gold Promotions. Joe Chioda, president of
    Streets of Gold, had this to say about the Faith Harmony Boys:

    Harmony Boys still possess a smooth, Southern Gospel Quartet sound

    tenor.

    Het Umsdos project werd in 1992 gestart en via het net als een patch
    beschikbaar gesteld in januari 1994. In juli werd het opgenomen in de
    standaardkernel, te beginnen met kernel 1.1.36.
    Umsdos werd eerder opgenomen in de Slackware distributie zelfs nog
    voor het officieel in de offici�le kernel werd opgenomen.
    Umsdos werd beginnend met kernel 1.1.60 verbeterd. De performance
    werd vooral voor schrijfacties dramatisch verbeterd. Sinds 1.1.70 ,
    is het weer stabiel.
    In Linux 1.2.2 werd een belangrijke bug opgelost. Deze bug zorgde
    sinds het begin bij gebruikers voor nogal wat ongerief (een aantal
    bestanden werden in stilte hernoemd, waarbij de droeve indruk werd
    gewekt dat ze waren verwijderd). Slackware 2.2 wordt nog steeds
    geleverd met kernelrelease 1.2.1 waarin deze bug nog zit.
    2.2 Beschikbaarheid
    Het is als een patch beschikbaar voor kernel 1.0.x. Vanaf kernel 1.2
    is het ingebouwd. Het kan in de kernel worden gecompileerd of als een
    module worden geladen. Als je umsdos als een module wilt laden, denk
    er dan om dat je ook het Ms-DOS fs als een module moet laden. Dit
    komt door een beperking in het modulesysteem (een aantal symbolen
    wordt alleen
    ge�xporteerd als de drivers als een module zijn ge�nstalleerd).
