I hear that some of you have been hyper-efficient in replying to invitations and even booking hotels! Well done! It's good to hear that some of our friends will be there to join in our Big Day.
For those of you who are popping by to look at our begging wedding list, we haven't started finalised it yet. We are working on it, though. I promise. We hope to have something published on this site in the next couple of weeks.
Perhaps we should have a counter with the number of shopping days to go?

Ah... a wise guy! Indeed, wedding invitations are indeed in circulation now. It's all very exciting, isn't it?
Thanks for ending the debate between two SSAGO (sorry Pete) old gits (I won and got the invite this morning!!)
No need to apologise! We're glad the invitation arrived and you're so happy about it.

Thanks to all those people who've sent us text messages in the last few days. We're glad you're all so happy to have an invitation. We agonised long and hard over the list - with the church having a maximum limit according to the priest of 120 we managed to get the list down to 150, so you might have to be really friendly for a while!
For those of you asking about wedding lists, we haven't done one yet. We wanted to wait until we'd moved into the new house and had worked out what we needed and what we wanted. Now we're in we've started thinking about it, and we should be able to let you know more in a few weeks.

We saw the first of the wedding invitations to be printed off, a couple of weekends back. Kirsty's Mum and Dad have done a fantastic job of realising our design. So three cheers to them!
Even more exciting than all that... ...tomorrow we pick up the keys to our new house!

Imagine my surprise at finding this in our referral logs.
Just to set the record straight, my darling bride has chosen her wedding dress and we shall be sending out the invitations long before the recommended 6-8 weeks before the wedding.
    And now some feedback...
Hmm...whose bright idea was it get married then anyway? Particularly as a) it's likely to be cold and b) it is traditionally the day I do my Chrimbo shopping! - (slightly) miffed
Well, Slightly, strangely enough Saturday, 21 December 2002 was chosen jointly by the two of us. Apologies if it interrupts your Christmas shopping, but bear in mind that the shops will be open for at least two days between the wedding and Christmas Day.
    That's enough for today!

Bah, humbug. I *hate* booking holidays. Particularly when you've got to go over Christmas. I object to over inflated prices. Top wedding tip today - get married out of season.

I thought I'd venture into this communicating lark, to remark that the updates are a bit thin on the ground. Just as well I have other means of finding out wot is going on!!! Our Ma
Well, Ma, things have been a bit busy of late, but just for you (and everyone else reading), here is an update of what we got up to in our brief spell in the North-East this weekend:
    * We visited the parish priest for the church that we are to be married in. We presented him with our baptism certificates and answered all of his questions, so that he could fill out his forms.
    * Whilst Kirsty, her Mam and her sister discussed floral arrangements with the florist (who else!?), Pete and his father-in-law-to-be visited the stationers to get the stationery (what else) for the invitations and the orders of service.
    * We started looking at fonts, and designs for the invitations.
    * We chose to have a square wedding cake. Why? Because they're easier to cut up into similarly-sized slices than round ones!
    * Things like suits, bridesmaids' dresses and such were discussed.
    * Oh... and we bought 18 disposable cameras to go on the tables at the reception.
That's about all for now. Tomorrow, the pair of us are off to visit the registrar in Crawley in order to get some certificates.

    Hey Renee,
Good morning. I'm having a FANTASTIC week. I don't know that I can really explain it.
Just work has been smooth, reading a great book, and have been getting lots of rest.
Plus Paul is coming home in 2 weeks, and I'm so looking forward to him being home for a while. He has been traveling for the last month for work. It's getting old.
Anyhow, I'll totally help with the plans. I think I was a party-planner in my last life. =) Okay, well not really, but maybe. You never know.
Just call me later. I'm gonna be running errands, but call my cell and we can start the planning and shopping whenever.
    Talk to you then,
    Mel

    Melissa,
Hey girlie. What's new? How is your week going? Work has been busy, but foruntately Monday was quiet.
Since it was Martin Luther King Day, several of our vendors were off from work. I was able to get caught
up on a lot of things that had been piling up on my desk.
So, I wanted to get your input and help, if you are willing to lend it, on Deanna's surprise b-day party.
I'm inviting about 30 people and here is who has replied so far.
    1. Tina Rogers
    2. Lauren Manning
    3. Steve Eidson
    4. Kyle Edwards
    5. Josh and Missy Evans
    6. Tim and Rachel Perkins
    7. Jeff and Stephanie Savas
    8. Corrine and Stefan Vickers
    9. Tommy and Rebecca Hollisa
    10. Jackie Urick
    11. Erica Weiss
I need to find some fun games, and get food, and maybe a few decorations. I also need to get music.
Finally, I wanted to put together a collage of photos --- one of Deanna over the years with her family and one of Deanna with friends
& maybe some photos of just friends. That's gonna be my main present to her.
Are you up for shopping and helping me organize? It would be a big help. Let me know.
    Talk to you later,
    Renee

ITHACA - Ann Bliss continues to grieve for the five young cocker
spaniels that recently died after eating some contaminated
    Diamond-brand dog food.
    Things I've tried:
    1) Physically moved my vid card and other cards around in my computer.
    2) Tried nvidia drivers from the 6.x series to the 12.x series. The
latter seem to be better but not by much.
    3) Tried DirectX 7, 7a, 8, 8a
    4) Went through various BIOS tweaks and recommended from the tweak guide
at Planet Deus Ex. These didn't cause any problems. In fact my computer
in general seems a bit snappier but Deus Ex doesn't.
    5) Changed all of the in game graphics options: Detailed Textures,
resolution, world textures etc. Changing resolutions doesn't seem to do
much btw. I still get the same framerate until I pull the menu up
    problem.

mei erste geschichte gebt mal a kommetar
Was will das Leben damit bezwecken? Was fr
    weien,leichten Wolken vorbeiziehen.
