Brief tx hx: Excedrin, Fiorinal, or Caffergot before '92 from various family docs, psychotherapy, feverfew, chiropractic, biofeedback; then I was an outpatient from 92-96 or so at the Michigan Head Pain & Neuro Clinic, Joel Saper's place. However, I had 0 headaches from 9/19 until last weekend, when my period started (I always have 1 the day of my period). The variable? I had surgery on 9/19 to repair a badly broken upper arm sustained in a fall on 9/16. The delay for the surgery was due, I was told, to the need to order the jointed metal plate they were using to hold the bone together. Surgery went fine & i was sent home the next day. Of course, I was off work; I had someone staying with me so stress was low...but at other similar times....vacations, eg....my migraines don't seem to mind inviting themselves along. Does anyone think there could have been something in the injury (Colles' fracture to the left humerus), the surgery, or the plate that was installed that could have given me a temporary respite?
