Cela me coit donc le prix de l'assurance italienne (assez chs), la vignette italienne (en Italie est toujours en vigueur) et les coia la re-matriculation franse. Or il me semble avoir compris qu'il existe la possibilite faire un achat en Italie pour l'exportation (l le passage de propri coit 150 au lieu de 400) et que je puisse demander en France une plaque d'immatriculation lia voiture m qui me permettrait d'blir une assurance d en France et donc d'ter le passage de l'assurance et vignette Italienne. Avec cette plaque, si j'ai bien compris, je pourrais me rendre en Italie, les attacher a voiture en question (qui sera donc de-immatricul en Italie) et me rendre en France opourrais circuler librement, sans m avoir besoin d'immatriculer en une plaque diffnte. Mi sembra pero' che esista un modo diverso, che consiste nell'acquistare direttamente l'auto per l'esportazione e che richieda che io mi procuri direttamente in francia delle targhe legate all' autoveicolo (me lo ha spiegato un concessionario un po' di fretta ma non sapeva bene neppure lui) con le quali io me ne vengo in italia, me le attacco all' auto e me la porto in francia. The organizers of the TAGC's 25th anniversary festivals (Sri Ramana Murthy Yedavalli, President, Sri Rama Reddy Sama, Chair of the Souvenir Committee, and Smt. Lakshmi Damaraju, Co-chair of the Souvenir Committee) put together the Souvenir, published, and released it. They named their souvenir "telugu velugu". The TAGC's telugu velugu is a book consisting of 289 pages. After I received the book from my friend/reporter, I had been working on the book and left it on the floor of my office along with other books. A learned colleague of mine, Dr. Suman Agarwal (a nuclear physicist/chemist trained in France) came to my office and this TAGC souvenir caught his attention. Suman suddenly grabbed the telugu velugu, flipped the pages, looked at the photographs, read some English sections, and finally said "WOW! These guys did a great job! It is not easy to put a souvenir together. They must have worked very hard! Your guys are really something!" That is what a non-telugu Indian spoke about the TAGC's Silver Jubilee Souvenir. Here are my comments on the TAGC's 25th Anniversary Souvenir: 1) The cover is multicolored with 36 color photographs reproduced. The cover is dazzling and attractive like the wings of a colorful buttefly. The pictures represent various cultural functions of the organization (in the past). The cover is fine-looking. Since it was a silver jubilee souvenir, the word "venDi" should have bee appropriate e.g. "venDi telugu". 2) This souvenir was dedicated to all who worked for, nurtured, and supported the TAGC. That was nice of the souvenir committee to mention at the beginning. 3) I shouldn't forget onething to mention at the beginning. What I liked of all in the souvenir is the mention about the members of TAGC who passed away (like Late Dr. K.T. Reddy, Late Sri Atluri Candrasekahara Rao, and Late Sri Mahammad Sujat). I remember one piece of a very famous English poem while seeing these three salutations to the departed souls - "Fame is the food that dead men eat in their silent and gloomy tombs but friendship is the noblest thing that remains for ever." Hats off to you the TGAC guys for remembering your unseen past friends. That is really nice of you. This happens rarely but you did it. 4) Another important feature of this souvenir is collecting and exhibiting the letters from the past presidents of the organization. That takes back the members to nostalgia. Most of these past presidents expressed their feelings and experiences about the then growing TAGC. 5) The souvenir also gives the reader a panorama of past editors with brief profiles. This added a flavor to the souvenir. The reader can get a glimpse at the development and evolution of the souvenir. Cover pages of 15 such souvenirs were even reproduced on pages 83-85. They would have been much better if they were in color. The art work on each of those cover pages of 15 selected issues from 1975-1995 is really eye-catching. Each cover page looks like it is second to none. In fact those cover pages of the past issues are much better than the cover page of the silver jubilee issue. 6) The souvenir is a representation of history and historical landmarks pertaining to the inception, growth, and development of the TAGC. The editor and editorial board were right on the track and did not give an impression to the reader that they lost the focus. 7) "kalam tikkanalu", a special introductory account on the past editors the present editor was outstanding.
