LB Keith Bulluck suffered a calf strain in the third quarter and did not return. "My mentality is I ball until I fall," Bulluck said. "I'll go out there next week and whatever happens to it happens to it, but we have to get this straightened out so I definitely have to be out there." While it seems unlikely that demand will increase in the wake of the reprint announcement, some sellers remain bullish. An independent bookseller, who had been offering a signed galley edition for $2,400 on Amazon, expressed optimism about finding a buyer, reprinted copies notwithstanding. In an email message sent Wednesday, the bookseller, who asked to remain anonymous, told The Book Standard, "I don't think that a new printing will have any impact on my own copy, except perhaps to heighten interest even further because my copy is unique." The email continued, "I am somewhat ambivalent about selling it because I am a book and political history buff myself, and I wouldn't mind keeping it, even if it eventually drops significantly in value." As late as Sunday morning, the seller had been able to find copies of the used book for under $20, according to the email. Anders FOX exposed anti-Kerry vets' flip-flopping As part of ongoing efforts to undermine Senator John Kerry's war record, the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, a group founded to discredit Kerry's record during and after his service in Vietnam, held its first news conference on May 4. Also on that day, Media Matters for America released a report on the group's founder, John O'Neill -- also one of Kerry's strongest critics; the report documents O'Neill's participation in Republican efforts to smear Kerry dating back to the Nixon administration. The scrutiny that cable networks directed toward Kerry's critics throughout the day varied significantly; FOX News Channel provided in-depth coverage, including revealing that some of Kerry's present-day critics have, in the past, actually praised Kerry for his Vietnam service. In many of the May 4 cable news reports, the partisan political backgrounds of the Swift Boat Vets were mentioned. CNN's afternoon news program, Live From..., described the Hello Amanda! Yes, outgoing scanning should work (though it's not necessary IMO). If there's a problem, it's not an OE setting. Most likely the problem is the way AVG's server (which actually scans your messages) and Comcast's SMTP servers are communicating with each other. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (Shell, IE/OE) & Security eric0668 wrote: Dell 8300 Windows XP Home SP2 AVG 7 Free Edition Ok I can turn off. I felt like a huge rock has been lifted off my shoulders. First and foremost, i would like to thank God for all the strength and wisdom plus good health he has provided me with throughout this entire month. Without Him, i don't think i could even survive any of my struggles or stress involved during my last days of project development. I want to say thank you to my parents too for just being around the house while i was doing my work. Even though they did not help me in anything regarding my project, but their very presence is a motivation in itself. Then i would like to express my deepest appreciation also to ALL my friends - especially eu-gene for helping me with coding and also kel vin who helped me print my entire report even though it was 2 am in the morning. A big THANKS to HY and Meng too for directly helping me with documentation and also motivation. Not forgetting joshua who encouraged me even though we were just chatting rubbish every night (or morning for that matter) during our final week of "WAR". And to all those people who helped me but whose names i did not mention due to forgetfulness, i want to say sorry. Or maybe not. Matt Morris isn't quite the Matt Morris of 2001, but he's still a playoff-worthy ace, better than any Giant starter. Assuming he's recovered from a strained oblique, Woody Williams has pitched well when healthy this year, though he may be rusty by the time he takes the mound for Game Two. The Cards are praying he checks his tateriffic ways of old at the door, lest Bonds hit a ball clear to Oakland. If he's not able to pitch, the plan appears to be to run with Jason Simontacchi, which isn't bad news, both because of his worthwhile contributions during the season, and because of the other seven bodies LaRussa is keeping in his overstuffed pen. The bottom of the rotation isn't too shabby either. Chuck Finley made the Snakes turn white in his Game Two, spinning a scoreless gem with 7 Ks. He's followed Will Clark and Williams, becoming the latest Cardinal late-season pickup to benefit from the mojo of Busch Stadium's next-door neighbor.
