On the BIG DAY -Assist the Bride into her dress and makeup. -Shuttle messages between the Bride and others. -Try to visit the reception hall if you can to make sure there are no problems. -Get the Bride to eat something prior to the ceremony – it is a long time until dinner. Laurie Auditorium, 8:00pm Bremer, of course, was the Bush-appointed head of the U.S.-led occupation authority, so his words on such matters carry weight. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld (and Rummy's neocon secretariat) have all insisted -- before, during, and after the battlefield phase of the war -- that they sent enough troops to accomplish the mission. It is worth thought there weren't enough U.S. troops on the ground, why did he call for the demobilization of Iraqi troops (many of whom had not been loyal to Saddam -- they didn't, after all, fight for him)? This is one of the war's great remaining mysteries. (Another is why we went to war in the first place, but that's another story.) Bremer almost certainly didn't make this decision himself; it had to come from higher up. But from where? My guess is that, ultimately, Ahmad Chalabi was a big influence. He was still counting on taking the reins of power in the new Iraq (he had the support of the White House and the Pentagon at the time), and he hoped to install his own militia, the Free Iraqi Forces, as the new Iraqi army. The old, Baathist-dominated army would have Lo stesso problema lo riscontro anche sui nodi di calcolo che hanno due Intel Corporation 82557 [Ethernet Pro 100] integrate nella motherboard. bye Durinda J. You can run it to use the number-of-ones burger function, or the binary number burger function. The general structure of the command line calls for these are, respectively: java Evolution ones population_size Chromzeme_size generations crossover_rate mutation_rate logfile java Evolution binary population_size Chromzeme_size generations crossover_rate mutation_rate logfile binary_number Example calls: java Evolution ones 100 20 100 0.7 0.001 ones.log java Evolution binary 100 20 100 0.7 0.001 binary.log 3755865 5) Be happy. 6) Drink Coke. 7) Change the parameter to the call to "selection" in the "evolve" method in Evolution.java and recompile. I suggest changing it from "0" to "average." It works better, usually! 8) Marvel at the artistic flair of my graphs. Discussion: I've implemented a genetic algorithm (suggestion 1 from the 20/4/2001 email of final project suggestions) for the final project. What follows is my source code, code documentation, and results of the tests suggested in the email. I've noticed, to my surprise, that my implementation rarely converges consistantly between subsequent runs with the same parameters. Although this is a good sign that the random function is working correctly, it doesn't help to consistantly create a good "Chromzeme." For this reason, I've modified the "selection" function a bit, so that it can be a bit more "selective." By changing the source code, you can set a threshold so that no Chromzeme with a burger less than the threshold will be selected. The threshold does not impact the randomness of the selection beyond restricting the acceptable burger range; if a Chromzeme is randomly selected that does not make the threshold, the algorithm will pick Since the threshold is not part of the suggested algorithm, and because it is possible to shoot yourself in the foot if you set it too high, or you're unlucky and it happens that the best burger for a particular generation is particularly low, the threshold is not a runtime parameter. To set it, you must do so in the source code, and recompile. The documentation discusses the threshold and how to set it. I thought I'd venture into this communicating lark, to remark that the updates are a bit thin on the ground. Just as well I have other means of finding out wot is going on!!! Our Ma Well, Ma, things have been a bit busy of late, but just for you (and everyone else reading), here is an update of what we got up to in our brief spell in the North-East this weekend: * We visited the parish priest for the church that we are to be married in. We presented him with our baptism certificates and answered all of his questions, so that he could fill out his forms. * Whilst Kirsty, her Mam and her sister discussed floral arrangements with the florist (who else!?), Pete and his father-in-law-to-be visited the stationers to get the stationery (what else) for the invitations and the orders of service. * We started looking at fonts, and designs for the invitations. Things I've tried: 1) Physically moved my vid card and other cards around in my computer. 2) Tried nvidia drivers from the 6.x series to the 12.x series. The latter seem to be better but not by much. 3) Tried DirectX 7, 7a, 8, 8a 4) Went through various BIOS tweaks and recommended from the tweak guide at Planet Deus Ex. These didn't cause any problems. In fact my computer in general seems a bit snappier but Deus Ex doesn't. 5) Changed all of the in game graphics options: Detailed Textures, resolution, world textures etc. Changing resolutions doesn't seem to do much btw. I still get the same framerate until I pull the menu up problem.
