I got some photo's back that I took at the Rally of Melbourne today and on 2 photo's that I took of a double rainbow at Yarra Glen, there are some of these streaks. The double rainbow was beautiful and having some rally cars just made it all the more interesting for me. Now, I can't remember all the details from the subsequent posts on this topic, but I do remember someone mentioning the possibility of sun light reflecting internally in the camera. I can't say wether this was the case in the original photo's, but it couldn't be the reason for the streaks in my photo's. Mainly because I was taking the photo's with the sun behind me, as you have to to take photo's of rainbows, also because I had a visor mounted on the lens. At first I thought it might have been a rain drop illuminated by the sun or the camera flash, but the size of the streak would indicate larger rain than was falling at the time. Unfortunately I was unable to ask the lab about the streaks as I didn't see them until later. But the rainbow shots were the only 2 photo's from 2 rolls of 36 exposure film to show these marks. Anyone have any ideas that I may have missed reading in the last thread. I will bring the 2 photo's along to the next Melbourne ASWA meeting. Regards,
